Comedian Marc Anthony Pezzano will host the great entertainment, which will be headlined by the Prima Vera Italian/American Band, tenor Christopher Macchio and Angelo Coppola on organetto. There will be an assortment of vendors with a variety of arts and crafts, jewelry and ceramics. Food vendors will offer delicious Italian dishes. Westchester Community College Professor Carlo Sclafani will have Italian cultural history exhibits on display and there will be rides and games for kids. Parking and admission are free. The event will be held rain or shine. Bring blankets or chairs for informal seating on the lawn. The Italian Heritage Celebration is sponsored by Westchester County Parks, the Antonio Meucci Lodge #213 (Order Sons of Italy) and the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. Visit the New Office of Tourism Outdoor Display Area Visions of upcoming Westchester events will now catch the eye of passers by on busy Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. A large display space, part of the Westchester County Office of Tourism (at 222 Mamaroneck Avenue), has been made available to county attractions to showcase and promote their upcoming events. Each month a different member of the Seven Wonders of Westchester will decorate the 6'x3' space with a colorful display highlighting their attraction and a signature special event. The Seven Wonders of Westchester is a consortium of some of the most visited historical sites, museums and performing arts centers in the county.
