Mulberry Street and Art Innovators Team Up For an Evening of Fine Food & Art

Unleash your inner artist and enjoy “Pizza and Picasso”

White Plains (September 2012) – Mulberry Street Italian Kitchen and Art Innovators have combined art and food with a “Pizza and Picasso” adult art class and dinner event. The class will take place in the private room at Mulberry Street on Wednesday, September 26th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Art Innovators will be running a step-by-step painting class that leaves room for the artist’s creativity. For just $30 per person, not only will each guest bring home a masterpiece, but the class will also be accompanied by Mulberry’s traditional personal brick oven pizza and any beverage of the guest’s choice. ”We are thrilled to collaborate with Art Innovators to bring an interactive art experience to the community,” said John Gazzola, Owner, Mulberry Street. “If you are looking for a creative outlet and a great meal, then ‘Pizza and Picasso’ is the perfect night out.” Art Innovators provides art-based creativity workshops in a relaxed environment meant to help individuals discover abilities, ideas and talents. These art programs are for people who want to share their imagination and inventiveness, overcome creative blocks, and inspire creative thinking and originality. “We will be focusing the guests’ attention on drawing a landscape scene using a water color technique,” said Susanne Metscher, Owner and Director, Art Innovators. “The comfortable setting at Mulberry fits perfectly with our focus for the evening.” For more information or to register, contact Metscher at 914-815-7306 or smetscher@kidzart.com or call (914) 761-1111. Mulberry Street is located at 189 East Post Road in White Plains. The restaurant is open Sunday – Thursday from 11:30am to 10pm and Saturday from 11:30am to 11pm.
