When is Wright Wrong ?????
Just when you thought it was safe to trust the American Dream and thing that things have overcome -Well, here comes the obvious: Who is "pushing" Wright and who does NOT believe what is being done to OBAMA? Hmmmmmmmm..................
curious - How many of you out there can "really" afford to spend the little money our Gov't is stimulating us with? Hmmmmm........
Did anyone say RECESSION ????????? I want to be paid mucho bucks like those boys with the PHD for Economics in front of their name. It took a whole year for them to say what most of the common folks like me already have been saying: ReCeSSioN
We will get through this one like all the others. It will be a slower recovery. Maybe we need an independant flower to "bloom" through the weeds and orchids and straighten out our Federal Gov't.
1 Hour limit meters not enough time around DMV and White Plains Mall
How long do you really have to get lunch or go to the DMV in White Plains? The answer is ONLY one hour. Most of the meters around the White Plains Mall are 1 hour time limit. I feel bad for the senior citizens and handicapped or physically disabled. I know what the city govt. might say: use the mall lot. Oh, force us to use an overpriced lot. Nice. Very nice. How about when the lot is jammed and it takes
10 - 15 minutes to get out? Not to mention that construction workers are using the lot
while they build the RITZ. At least give us 2 hour meters on one street. Geeez.
Too much graffiti, so little time
As I drove the Bronx River Parkway today, I noticed a new round of graffiti painted up on the under and overpasses. It may start to look like the old subway cars if we don't get a handle on it!
My solution - lawmakers need to get creative with their penalties and laws. We all know that graffiti "people" don't get stiff fines and jailterms. By the time the lawyers
get thru, the paint is already wet with new stuff on the walls. what can we do?
HARD LABOR! Minimum 1 year cleaning graffiti throughout Westchester. AND I MEAN CLEANING! Not just a simple painting over. I mean - Get Down, feel the pain, sweat and tears CLEANUP! 1 YEAR! Videotape it and bring it in to all the grammar schools on high definition DVD. Enough of this "white washing".....
Then - put them on probabtion for another year with GPS ankle bracelets to monitor their every move.
