SCORE OPENS NEW OFFICES IN WHITE PLAINS

Effective Tuesday, May 30, SCORE, Service Corps of Retired Executives, will be operating at 120 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains, New York. SCORE is located in the New York State Department of Labor offices on the second level. Free parking is available.

Sponsored by the United States Small Business Administration, SCORE offers Free and Confidential counseling on Starting and Operating a Small Business, and has been in White Plains for the past 35 years. In addition to free individual counseling, SCORE sponsors Free workshops every Wednesday afternoon from 1 - 3 p.m.. These workshops cover many different aspects of starting and growing a small business.

Regular office hours for SCORE are 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. weekdays. Counseling is by appointment only. SCORE, a national organization, based in Washington, D.C. has this mission statement: "SCORE provides professional guidance and information to America's small business in order to strengthen the local and national economy."

All volunteer counselors have vast business experience and are dedicated to help others reach their dreams of owning a business.
